Job Description:

Asplundh Canada ULC is seeking licensed Herbicide applicators. Asplundh a family owned and operated corporation is the world’s leading vegetation management company, with over 28,000 employees serving utilities and municipalities in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. As a full service utility contractor Asplundh also performs Right-of-way clearing and maintenance, vegetation management with herbicides, vegetation control for Railroads, Pipelines, Highways and Oil and Gas facilities.

Duties will include applying herbicides, documentation associated with applying herbicides and keeping good customer relations.

Preference will be given to those who hold valid industrial pesticide applicator licenses, H2S, First Aid and a valid class 5 drivers license but training will be provided.

Employment to run May till September with the majority of the work in Alberta with a competitive wage package, living allowance and hotels are paid. Average workweek would be between 40 and 80 hours with overtime paid.
