Job Description:

Since 1936, Camp Tamakwa has operated as a co-ed children's residential summer camp in Algonquin Park, Ontario. We run over 20 activities at camp including waterfront, land sports and artistic programs in addition to our extensive canoe tripping program. Currently, we are looking for energetic, mature people to fill some of our few remaining job opportunities for the summer 2009. Applicants should be excited to work in a fun-filled environment in Algonquin Park, Ontario.

Appreciation for the outdoors and significant experience with children are definite requirements. Come and join us in 2009 and help children experience the magic of a Tamakwa summer.

We’re still looking to fill a few important positions:


1) Camp Nurse (RPN, RN, or graduating nurse)
2) Arts & Crafts Director (extensive knowledge of numerous crafts projects, materials and artistic ability)
3) Swim Instructors
4) Ropes Course Specialists



Job Qualifications: Dependent on position

Salary: Competitive – Includes Room and Board
