Job Description:
The Terry Fox Foundation raises money for cancer research. On Friday September 11th, 2009, we will be having our annual Great Canadian Head Shave. This year, it is being held during the lunch hour at Canadian Western Bank Place on 10303 Jasper Avenue in Edmonton.
The Foundation is looking for an organizer for this event. The organizer is responsible to help promote the event, solicit head shave participants and then facilitate the head shave on September 11th. Approximately 1 hour per week is required - which may build to 2 hours just prior to the event.
The Foundation will provide all the materials and support to assist the organizer.
