Meals on Wheels Program
Internal/External Posting
Summer Student Part-time Position
July 6th to Sept 4th/20 hours per week

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Coordinator, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Meals on Wheels Program.

Duties and Responsibilities
? Intake of new clients
? Manage client files (includes invoicing and collection of accounts)
? Coordinate volunteers
? Coordinate food orders with caterer
? Ensure vehicles are in running order
? Maintain daily statistics

Job Skills
? Interpersonal skills: A passion for working with seniors and people with developmental disabilities
? Computer Skills: Microsoft Word/Microsoft Access
? Personal Management Skills: Able to make decisions and work independently

Education and Experience
? Full time student enrolled in a post secondary institution
? Experience in dealing with the public: in person/phone
Also required
? Valid driver?s license, comfortable driving and a good working knowledge of the Abbotsford area
? A current criminal record check and Drivers Abstract
