Jr. Sous Chef

Job Responsibilities

- Execute in a hands-on style, menu item production, preparation and presentation during service times to achieve consistent quality and value to each guest.
- Comply with all regulatory health and safety codes, working towards creating a strong work place health and safety environment.
- Actively participate in joint health and safety committee (JHSC) meetings.
- Complete certification on WHMIS policies and procedures.
- Complete certification and ensure all kitchen team members are correctly trained according to municipally approved food handling procedures.

Qualifications

- Must have reliable transportation, and ability to work on weekends and holidays
- Technical training. Supported by professional qualifications.
- Minimum of 2-3 years experience in a wide variety of food & beverage operations, with a proven track record in similar establishments.
- Self motivated, innovative problem solver, with proven leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent customer relations and service skills.
