Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:

This position is a Temporary Summer position where the overall duties of the Order Picker at True North Nutrition is to be part of the Warehouse Team in ensuring all orders have been fully processed by way of picking, scanning, packing and shipping, along with participation of receiving new inventory and other supplies.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives pick tickets from Warehouse Supervisor to obtain merchandise from bins or shelves and determined by scan codes and quantity of merchandise.

- Picks customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct scan code and type of product is selected

- Carries or transports orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with materials handling equipment, ensuring orders are staged in order of delivery.

- Performs cycle count on all products/merchandise ensuring its accuracy

- Occasionally scan and pack customer orders that is ready for shipping

- Assist in the shipping of customer orders by labeling merchandise, inclusion of updated invoices, along with stacking/wrapping on pallets.

- Assist in receiving by unloading trailer, counting merchandise to ensure all products were delivered as specified on invoice and packing onto shelves

- Operates any materials handling equipment safely and efficiently as required.

- Maintains a clean, safe, and productive work environment

- Re-packs and weighs orders which require such handling.

- Maintains material handling equipment by noting and reporting any damage or malfunction and connecting battery to recharging station at the end of shift.

- Assist in the maintenance of the security and safety of warehouse.
