Job Description:

Bay Area Health Trust seeks College/University Nursing Students (May through August 2009) to undertake safety audits in healthcare as part of an initiative to identify areas of improvement for healthcare facilities. These positions will report to the Manager of Business Development & Consulting Services. The primary responsibility of the students will be to use observational and communication skills to audit, collect, analyze and prepare reports about key performance indicators associated with the type of safety audit. Candidates for this position will have excellent communications, writing and analytical skills and will be comfortable in working in a fast-paced and dynamic environments. This position also requires attention to detail, confidentiality and computer experience.

? Education level: currently enrolled in College or University based Nursing program
? Duration of contract: Minimum 1 year commitment
? This position may have the potential to lead to a permanent position, subject to performance and available funding.
